The Baron of Faux is one sick and twisted dude. I’m now awaiting the impending zombie apocalypse as a result of his shenanigans, which is about the only sane direction this story could take that would massively save this book for me.
Sadly. It will not save the sentence. Structure. Of this book. For me.
Máxima culpa.
Práre pro me ad Dóminum Deum nostrum
Has anyone seen my orchard of pomegranates? How can she survive without me for 28 days. It must be 28 days. I have done the math and it can not be less, She must have perished without me.

Someone is a little full of himself, and more than a little jealous of Saint Sebastian. But it is ok, because amidst all the piercing and pillaging, he realises that friendship is a wonderful thing. But oh noes, she found another sword, and is all hair swishy and glinty eyed. However could we have predicted such treachery? Also she should be shamed for betraying him. A man. Even though he betrayed another man with her just 28 days ago. Suddenly he demands loyalty.
There is not enough tea...but at least the bats are worthy of respect for their deeds against the protagonist.
Oh no, he has found a rebound girl, and what on earth is up with all the flying and witches.
This entire book is amazing, because it runs on the famous writer code of ‘tell, don’t show’
...oh wait!

What if I move the last chapter to Sunday, to finish this book, and we start Red Rising 2 on Monday 13th?

Ok, well then I’ll keep this one for a Sunday finish instead of Weds, and if you haven’t made it, I’ll hit up Patrick for his pick, and we will circle back for you on the next one.
