SOS: Serious Overload of Series discussion

So, as old lady lame as this may sound, for the long holiday weekend, when we're not living near family and friends, we stock up, veg out, and Netflix marathon a TV show we've never seen. One year it was Fringe, another was Mad Men, and this year's binge was Breaking Bad.

We gorged and watched 5 seasons in 3½ days. Or least I think it was 3½ days ... they all kinda blurred together at some point. >.<

That has got to be one of the very best TV series I have ever watched. The writing was amazing and the acting was spectacular.

I'm super excited about AMC's prequel spin-off 'Better Call Saul'! (Airs Feb 8-9) Saul is a hoot! I'm thrilled to see Mike is a part of the cast. Hopefully this will help take the edge off my BB withdrawals.

The Hubby binge watched it over about a week, I think about last October. He feels your pain.

Nice knowing there are others out there suffering along with us. :D Hopefully ya'll will get Better Call Saul too then b/c I'm guessing he'd be interested in checking it out.

My dad's been talking about BB for awhile, but we never had time to watch it. Glad we waited b/c I couldn't imagine having had to a week or year to see a new episode. :D

AMC's been reairing episodes every Monday. We watched this past Mon. They just never get old. I've no doubt we'll re-watch it again in the future.

I'm on season 3 at the moment (I think - they've all merged into one), hope to find some time to continue! :D

LOL! I felt so bad for Jesse. Walt, Walt, Walt ... man, what a mess. :D

The hubby was loaned the DVDs from one of his work buddies. He had no clue about the show, was just told to watch it. Then he couldn't stop. LOL.

Yes hopefully we'll get that Better Call Saul too :)
