Amazon Kindle Prime Readers & KDP Select Authors discussion

Hi, I'm Anneliese Dahl, 24 years old and a devoted poet. I recently published 2 collections of my poetry, Kindle & paperback, "in these flowers of eden" and "under forgotten skies", about hardship, and faith, and loss, and finding my way in the world. Mostly short poems, but some longer. A close friend, likely my only friend, provided multiple beautiful color illustrations. I would so much like people to try my poetry and give some honest feedback. I will do the same, in return.

Under forgotten skies

Singing sun

I spent the summer evenings singing,
and playing the flute for him,
but he always walked away.
I hoped the music could change him,
But it was only me who really changed inside.
The summer sun still sings in me now.
