On the Southern Literary Trail discussion

Hi,
Is anyone else having a lot of trouble trying to source some of the books that come up for the month's book read? Currently, I cannot seem to get The Tall Woman by Wilma Dykeman. It's out of print here in the UK, and there is no digital edition that I can find.

I just checked amazon. They have it new for $10.95.

I'm in England, unfortunately it's not in circulation here, and the customs from the US is horrible.

It can be hard to get here in the U.S. as well. Abebooks is a good inexpensive source.

Ordinarily I would recommend Book Depository for international book shopping but I appear to have struck out there this time.

That's exciting Diane! But do you know where? I've searched NYRB website and nothing at all for this book. I also looked in their American Literature section, but to no avail.

I am so sorry, please forgive, I spoke without thinking. It was The Land Breakers I was thinking of, another Appalachian novel, but this one certainly meets their parameters for great books, so maybe soon. That doesn't help you now, though.
