Ian Sarginson Hi, I am happy to review your books on 'goodreads' and if happen to Iike your book I am more than happy to enthuse about it to friends and followers on my socials too.
If I don't then I will keep it to GR, but I will always try to be fair and constructive in any critiques.
I don't have tens of thousands of followers, but the ones that I do have respect my opinion :-D

*Please note that I am not going to tell you that I loved your book if I didn't. I will share my thoughts with you before I publish a review if you would prefer and then decide if you want my review or not and we can just treat it as a Beta read.

Hey there Sarginson,

Would you be interested in reviewing a Sci-Fi cyberpunk novel? I'd really appreciate any honest critiques. I'll attach a synopsis below to see if it'll peek your interest.

— Going off-grid is perilous when the network extends to one’s mind —

In the distant future, humanity has become wholly dependent upon newfangled technologies. Once installed, the Global Chip allows users to augment reality however they wish, and this device has rendered every form of external tech obsolete. In fact, it’s now illegal for average citizens to disconnect, and the practice is so uncommon that most would scoff at the notion of meeting such a specter. No one is exempt from this rule, aside from those on active duty, and even they are reconnected as soon as their tour concludes.

It’s during his service that soldier Nathan Ackerman first finds himself awoken, and the state proves itself to be nothing short of euphoric. As a result, he decides to abscond on his last day in the military.
Lying low, remaining careful to not draw the attention of central authorities, he manages just fine. Never did he imagine that his freedom would be jeopardized by a lowly gun runner. Now, Nathan finds himself blackmailed into helping Halimah, and he’s soon caught up in a plot that extends to farther than he ever could have imagined.

Compounding the problem even further, Nathan’s kid sister becomes an accomplice. Should Nathan hope to save young Sarah, he’ll need to swallow his sizable pride, in joining suspect forces.

Ian, do you review non-fiction?

I have an ebook that has been blocked by both Amazon and Google, because it relates to the coronavirus pandemic. (It's on B&N and in some library distributors.) I've written 60+ books for major publishers, but that doesn't matter to Amazon and Google (Google even closed down my publishing account for having the temerity to submit a book about the pandemic!)

So I'm desperate for reviews, and it's really hard to get reviews without a Kindle version (I have epub and mobi files, of course).

Chad Nicholas | 3 comments Hi Ian.

I have a horror novel coming out this October called Nightmare, and I would really appreciate and Arc review for it. I'll leave the synopsis and cover below. Let me know if you are interested, and I can send you an ebook copy of it.

Nightmare by Chad Nicholas

Had it come back? No, it couldn't have. He had buried it for good. Or at least that's what Scott told himself. But what if it had? Was that why the scarecrow now watched him?

But the more Scott tries to ignore it, the more the evidence begins to pile up. So do the bodies. Because sometimes, the dead don't stay buried. Sometimes the monster survives.

As the bodies mount, and the secrets of his past grow more haunting, Scott must do whatever it takes to save his family. But what if by doing so, they find out what happened all those years ago? What if they realize what he did?

Scott learns that there is no escape from his own past, or the crows that have crawled out of it. He can only watch, as his life is turned into a living nightmare.

Rick Moss | 4 comments Hi Ian -

I'd be happy to send a paperback copy of Impossible Figures if you're interested in writing a review. It's a quick read: 223 pages. I would describe Impossible Figures as satirical literary fiction with a scifi premise (think Kurt Vonnegut). In other words, I use scifi plots as an excuse to explore many things, in this case, the creative spark that drives both science and art.

For Impossible Figures, I've drawn the illustrations, designed every square inch of the book, and am offering companion artwork as well — so it's a geniune labor of love and devotion. Let me know if you'd like a copy. You can learn more about my "novel/art" project here:

Hi Ian,

Would you like to read a murder mystery? The title of the book is Smokes of Death Beer. It is based in Bamberg and you can read it in an hour or so.

Here's the blurb:

A town known for its smoked beer. What if this pint is your last?

Nina Banerjee wants to enjoy medieval architecture, history and Rauchbier in the charming town of Bamberg in Bavaria. But when she stumbles upon the dead body of a man she just shared a beer with, things take a turn for the worse.
This quaint town, with its half-timbered houses and touristy attractions, is not all that safe. It’s a playground for criminals, who run riot with murder on their minds.
What will Nina do? Will she sit still as Detective Robert Muller labels her a prime suspect, or will curiosity get the better of her?

If you are interested, you'll find the book for free on Amazon and Kobo at the moment.

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Smokes-Death-B...

Kobo: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/smok...

Thank you!
Warm regards,
Shana

N.C. Ferrao | 14 comments Hi Ian,

Would you be interested in reviewing: "The Cabin"? It’s a psychological thriller.
Here is the blurb for your reference:

>
She tried hard, to stand still, to control her trembling, to squeeze her thumping heart. Holding onto the razor-sharp scalpel that suddenly felt heavy.
Murder? No, that was not a part of the plan.

When Ohio based Aria decided to join her friends on their camping trip in a secluded location, deep in the forests of Dandeli; she was looking forward for that last dashing weekend before heading for college.

But then, two strangers join. When Anya introduces her mysterious boyfriend, Kai and his cheerful, and yet over-friendly best friend Rylan; Aria feels something is off.

Initially, everything seems fun, but when Rylan suggests they spend the weekend at his Cabin, Aria couldn’t shake off the feeling that they can’t come back from what they are going into.

THE WEEKEND NEVER ENDED!

As secrets are uncovered, a sinister plan unfolds. And deaths follow.

R.L. (rl_blaisdell) | 5 comments RL Blaisdell
I have authored three suspense novels currently available on Amazon.com under the author name RL Blaisdell.

The first is Cyber Seventy-Seven. The story follows Blaze and Carla Heaton, their dog Kindle, and their adventures aboard the 77-foot Catamaran KindleKat as they’re chased from Bordeaux, to Malaga, the Canary Islands, and Brazil, all in the pursuit of a cabal of World Bank conspirators manipulating the global bitcoin markets.

The second novel is a prequel to the first called Cyber Dead or Alive, and explores how Mossad agent Carla Issaacson went in search of a cyber terrorist and found Blaze Heaton, his dog Kindle, and a ship. Together they are forced to bring down an administration in order to survive, in a world-wide political intrigue.

The third novel, was just released on 15 Oct this year, and is entitled Cyber Retribution. In it Blaze and Carla Heaton, and their human and four legged crew are determined to give away $64 billion dollars. But powerful forces are determined to seize the money and willing to kill to get their hands on it.

If you’d be willing to review one or more of the novels, I can arrange to get you a gift copy of the novels through Amazon which should still allow you to leave a review when you’ve finished.

Open to any thoughts or suggestions. I hope this finds you well.

Blurb- They raised the lid of the coffin and looked inside. The shroud of clouds that concealed the moon parted for a brief moment, allowing them to see what lay underneath, waiting impatiently for them.

The world that you think you know is in fact a giant asymmetrical cobweb, with each of its strands interlinking every single event to the others. Hidden in the dark corners of this web, lurking beneath its sullen shadows, is the obscured presence of a power that orchestrates all the worlds, weaving newer threads to drag its victims deeper into what remains of the primordial masterplan.

Can you foreshadow your future to evade the closing pincers of the forces that were in play even before the origin of life? Are you brave enough to venture inside and find out? If you think you are, I invite you to be prepared for a turbulent ride through the rugged trails of horror, mystery, fantasy, and love, into the womb of the mystical ‘Dominion of the Valentines…’
