Why do I want to be a mod?
Well I've never been a mod before, so something new to try.
What will you do to help this group?
I really like to give book suggestions, so I can definitely help with that.
Do you follow all the group rules?
I'm pretty sure I do...
What are some suggestions you have to make the group better?
Maybe some games? I'm not really sure...
Favourite retelling and why?
I recently read The Wrath and the Dawn, which I'm pretty sure it's kinda a Aladdin retelling? There's also another story mixed into it too...anyways I loved the way it was written. Kept me on my toes throughout the whole book.

Hey fairytale friends! Ya know it! We have recently hit 50 members...which means me and Fairy Merryweather will be making the decision of who to make the next moderator! There will be rules of course, so please follow them when we tell you to. The new moderator will be announced later today or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

All Melanie Dickerson books, and because It's clean romance. She makes the characters feel alive, and some authors don't do that.

~Role play may be fun! We could each be a character from a fairy tale, and role play as them. We could make our own retelling through RP! Games too!
~Retellings? I haven't read many, but so far I am loving The Peddler's Road!! It's a retelling of the Pied Piper fairy tale! I also love the Land of Stories!

Yes, I see that you are very active in this group, and you are a mod in a bunch of other groups. We also have your application from the last time we were choosing a mod :) We will definately take your applications into consideration!

Every 50 members, we will be choosing a new mod, so please keep inviting your friends! :)

1. Why do you want to be a mod?
I really want to help raise more awareness for fairytale retellings and hope that by participating actively in this group, I'll reach others who love fairy tales as much as I do.

2. What will you do to help out the group?
I'm super social so I will help with anything from monthly polls to replying to conversations.

3. Do you follow all of the group rules?
I try my best to. If I ever break any rules, please let me know! It's never intentional and I will do my best to correct any mistakes.

4. What are some suggestions you have to make the group better?
Maybe we can have votes every month for a book of the month and we can discuss it? I feel like it would be extremely fun since I've been the discussion leader of some books chats for some other groups and it's always so fun. I would be happy to help every month with that if needed!

5. Tell me your favorite retelling and why it's your favorite!
Ohh this is such a tough question. I really love The Lady and the Wish by J.M. Stengl. It's a King Thrushbeard retelling and I love it because the character arch for Gillian is gold. (It's the fourth book in the series and we see just how terrible Gillian is in the pervious books.) The book is also hilarious and I burst out laughing more times than I could count. This author also a master at relationships and the romance in the book is the definition of wholesome, sweet and swoon worthy.

(If I do get chosen, I would love to be Fairy Lucinda from Ella Enchanted. Character arch and getting a taste of your own medicine at it's finest. :) )

I'd love to make you a mod! The creator of this group and the other mod haven't been active here unfortunately, so I'd love it if you could help out, since you seem to be really involved and excited about fairytale retellings! Thanks for applying. :)

Thank you for your encouraging words! I am really excited and am more than ready to help out however I can. :)

I want to help out with the group. Create new discussions and topics, run polls ( I really like doing that), and interact with everyone one here. I'm already pretty active and I really enjoy the group and I already enjoy moderating!
2. What will you do to help out the group?
I suppose I already answered that question above. But yeah just help out with the BOTM, commenting, and creating new topics and discussion to keep people active in the group as much as I can.
3. Do you follow all of the group rules?
I hope so. :) I never gotten a strike or anything.

MOTM, I would like some topics on favorite authors or new releases.

I don't think I could pick a favorite. But then again I usually can't. :D
