I'm working with an ebook copy, so I'm guessing at a good reading schedule. Let me know if something looks off and I'll do my best to adjust. :)
So how are you guys enjoying the book so far?
I just started it and while I can relate to Kimi, the adult in me that's done with high school drama is so done with high school drama ^^;;;

I've been slowly making my way through this one, and I have to say, once Kimi gets to Japan, it really picks up and I'm having a much better time with it.
And for once, the love interest seems like a cinnamon roll, and I am all for that. I've read one too many YA that features a jerk, so it's refreshing to get someone sweet.

I'm about halfway through, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm wondering what the climax is ultimately going to be, though I'm guessing it's going to be that something happens to Kimi's mom that has her rushing back from Japan and leads to some kind of reconciliation between the three generations.
When she arrives in Japan, she loses herself in Kyoto's outdoor markets, art installations, and cherry blossom festival--and meets Akira, a cute med student who moonlights as a costumed mochi mascot. What begins as a trip to escape her problems quickly becomes a way for Kimi to learn more about the mother she left behind, and to figure out where her own heart lies.
