Dylan Glenn | 1 comments This is a hidden object puzzle book. I remember this book from my childhood (early-mid 2000's) I'd wager to bet the book was published somewhere in the 90's. It was filled with beautiful images illustrated of landscapes. There would be a valley or a lake or something. Within the images the author had hidden animals. Sometimes the animal would be drawn as a tree, lily pad, hill (or part of one of these for example), etc. There was an additional puzzle where the first initials of all the animals found in the pages corresponded to a single letter of a phrase to fill in at the end of the book. Since I was young I never actually tried to solve it but now I'd love to find the book and solve it. Thanks for any and all assistance.

Dylan, I moved your request to the "Unsolved" folder because you're looking for one specific book. Read our Group’s Special Rules.

Searabbits | 54 comments Possibly Puzzle Island?
Could it be one of Graeme Base's?

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5522 comments I agree with Searabbits that it's probably Puzzle Island by Paul Adshead. Here's a review that shows some of the illustrations from inside, in case that helps - http://themarlowebookshelf.blogspot.c...

STU | 63 comments I definitely think Puzzle Island.
Around the border the letters of the hidden animals were missing from the alphabet.
