I had high hopes for this book. IMHO the best book by Kasie West is Moment of Truth. I tried reading The Fill-In Boyfriend, but ended up ditching it after three chapters.

But don't let that discourage other potential readers.

Really? I loved The Fill-In Boyfriend... but everyone is different and I am a "I LOVE everything" person.

Sorry I haven't really been active, haven't gotten a lot of time with my laptop...
I actually re-read TFIBF last month, so it's still kinda fresh in my mind! It is by far my favorite Kasie West book, I just loved everything about it!

I agree. It is SOOOO GOOD!

Personally, it wasn't my favorite. The MC's interactions were cute but I didn't really like Gina's (that's her name, right?) interactions with her friends or other people. I was also just uncomfortable with the amount of lying in the book (and how easily the characters did it).

But like Luffy said, don't let my opinion make other people feel like they shouldn't read it. Everyone has their own opinion about things!

Thank you for mentioning me Sara. What I wanted to say is that I was put off by who the Fill In Boyfriend was and I wasn't up to reading this little journey for him to turn into a soulmate of the MC.

Q: What was you're first impression of Gia?

I think that she is kinda a snot, but she is nice. Also, I think Jules makes the worse influence on her, which is probably why she is mean sometimes.

I think that Eve is a desperate witch and she needs to stop leading Hayden on. I still hate Eve!!!

I DO TOO! She is mean and definitely should stop, he doesn't deserve it AT ALL. I feel the exact same.

Lol, it's fine! I just wanted to make sure that it was a mistake and not the actual question... I don't have a favorite character in really anything unless all the characters but one stink... so I can't answer.

I know she probably will! She usually does like 2-3 books a year. Last year, I think it was Maybe This Time and Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss...

I felt the same way. Sorry for coming into this late but I had to comment as a book lover. It is definitely a must read, as far as u can go. But I was not a Gia fan from the first page. I found her bratty and snarky. The lying was a bit uncomfortable as well. I gave up half way through. But it's a great book if you like the witchy girl drama. I'm just a shy girl/geek girl book lover.

Yep! I think that is why I like them the more I think about it! My mom has a good taste in books and she is the one that hands it to me.

I did that and made my sister read On the Fence and she LOVED it... I am still rubbing it in that I said she would like it and she didn't believe me.

hehe i try to recommend books to my little brothers and they always say things like "that sounds stupid" or "it's too long and boring" or "that's a girls book" and I'm like how do u know when you haven't even tried it???

Lol, my brother is always looking for something boyish to read... I could never get him to read romance (Or anything I like for that matter)... (Moral: Your NOT the only one!)

Haha, I don't have any brothers, but I'm definitely not going to be convincing any guys to read what I read anytime soon! It's kinda embarrassing enough that my dad knows that I like romance books and he's like "Aren't you too young?" and stuff like that, but he still gets them for me so.. *shrugs* Whatevs lol am I'M NOT TOO YOUNG, DAD

Basically nobody in my school likes to read (okay, so that's a big fat lie, but hey, nobody likes to read as much as ME) and none of my irl friends like to either and I'm just over here being so lonely :( And that is why I have GoodReads!

i have like 2 friends who like to read. no one else does. so I never talk about books to my other friends. they would have 0 interest in anything I say
