This book has been on my to read list for quite some time. I've heard really good things about it, and was actually originally recommended to me by a friend. Considering it's just part one of a series, I'm really hoping to like this one so I know if I want to read the rest.

I'm still working on my week one book, but I will be getting to this one soon. I hope.

Amanda (zmobie) | 22 comments And I've completed this book already. I won't say it was amazing, because I didn't really think this one was that amazing. I really liked it. I liked the characters, but I felt that a little more could have been put into character development. There was so much more to know, and the book ended before I was really satisfied.

However, this is part of a series, so I'm assuming the rest of the character/plot development and everything else is in the rest of the series. So I will be reading the remaining three books.

I am really starting to like the relationship between Patch and Nora, though. So there is that.

Maria | 39 comments I read the all three books and for me this book is the best one in the series. The following books do not have that much of the character development.

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments I read this one shortly after it came out and I remember I loved it when I had read it then, I never finished the series though, only read the first two, I'm hoping to finish them this year though.

QueenKatie (queenkatie) | 5 comments I re-read this book last night and the second time around I found so many things that bugged me. Nora, every three seconds, was explaining why Patch was sinister (my word, not hers. Don't dock me for that please!) and gave her the creeps, because WELL he wanted to whack her off. Call me crazy, but if a guy was stalking me and determined to kill me, I don't believe (no, I know!) I would not fall in love with him! I am pretty sure there is a syndrome for that (yeah, yeah Stockholm?).

The first time I read this I really wanted to love it, but the second time --> nah, this is not a romance, but a sick twisted tale that gave me the creeps. Patch is hot, but honestly I can turn any book-guy into a hottie if I try hard enough.

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments @ Katie bahahaha! 'but honestly I can turn any book-guy into a hottie if I try hard enough'

I died when I read that, it's so true! I haven't read this in a while, so I'm not sure if I come back to it now I would think remotely the same thing. This seems to be the kind of relationship in books that sells, your description of it immediately reminded me of Twilight which we all know sold massively.

I really want to go back and read this again now haha!

Silvia Turcios | 304 comments I actually enjoyed this story, but I hated all the characters.

Yes, Yes -->>> Twilight! When you mentioned that the lightbulb in my head went off!! Edward and Patch are so much a like minus the glitter.

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments @ Silvia The feeling I remember when I try to think back to the story was suspense, but now I can hardly remember all the details other than the end scene. haha!

@ Katie They are and you can make that connect to A LOT of different novels. When you think about it, it's kind of sad Twilight has one, Fifty Shades has one, The 5th Wave has one - I'm sure there's tonnes more but that's just a couple off the top of my head.

QueenKatie (queenkatie) | 5 comments 50 Shades aka Master of the Universe! Bad stuff. Just Bad.
