Ellen | 3511 comments Frank Abagnale knew he wanted more out of life than the average guy so he resolved to be successful no matter what it took. Before the age of 21 he passed himself off as a Pan-Am pilot, a pediatrician, a lawyer, an FBI agent, and a sociology professor. His schemes netted him several million dollars and a jet-set lifestyle. There was not a con game in place that he couldn't improve upon with his charm and humor. It seemed he could convince anyone to do whatever he wanted. Of course, eventually the police departments in numerous countries became aware of Frank, or one of his myriad aliases, and he was caught; not always successfully incarcerated however as he was quite good at escaping. What an interesting life this young man led beginning when he was only in his late teens. Fascinating stuff! I really enjoyed this on audio and, believe me, I did a lot of head shaking at his boldness and the naivete of his victims.
