3. Anna certainly comes across submissively at the beginning of the story. Did your impressions of her change significantly after learning she's an Omega wolf and what that means?

I actually wondered if she was as submissive as she first appeared, even before we find out she's Omega. Just different things she said, or just the fact she made the call. I felt bad for her in the beginning, the victim of such heinous acts. And even though I still felt for her and hated the things she experienced, I saw her amazing strength and ability to pick herself up and go forward. I admired her.

One of my favorite lines from the book is when Charles has told her that his wolf has claimed her. Anna says, "If I am yours, then you are damn well going to be mine." Love that.

Oh, I loved that line, too, and I was startled when she said it. Told me lots about her.

I didn't know what to make of her in the beginning. I was confused about why she endured what she did for so long but it wasn't until Charles began questioning her and her story unfolded that I really appreciated what she went through. By the end, I was a huge fan.

That was a swoon worthy comment :) I think she was a bit defeated in herself but as Charles helped her see things can be different and that she was a stronger person. That made Anna see herself.

So true, Kris.

Good point, Kris. I like that.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I don't think she was submissive rather demoralized by what had happened to her. There are hints of her spirited nature and she slowly grows into the strength that is hers.

She sure found it when Isabelle attacked Charles! I loved that moment.

Anna was amazing - definitely NOT submissive.
