1. What spurred Anna into action, given her history with her pack?

I think the fact that she wasn't really a submissive, but an Omega, is what helped her make that call. She may have beaten and raped, but I don't think she could let that keep her down forever. She wanted to heal and move on from it. Instinctively she wasn't someone to cower. That instinct was luckily stronger than the brainwashing the pack attempted.

I also think seeing someone else being abused (and someone killed), although not in the same way, pushed her along.

I agree completely with you, Monica! I think also think that Charles helped her see that the pack she was with is not necessarily the standard. It gave her hope.

I thought similarly. It was her nature to look out for others and it wasn't about her.

Yes, she hardly looked out for herself.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I think she'd just had enough and her instinct to help the others in the pack spurred her to contact Bran (it's been a while since I read this but I think that's what she did).
