2025 Reading Challenge discussion

This month we will be reading On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

We have made some changes to the threads. This is where we will be discussion the book prior to the group read. If you're excited for the book let us know! Have you read it before or is it your first time?

This will be my first time reading On the Come Up and my first time reading one of Angie Thomas' books in general (although The Hate U Give has been on my TBR for ages, so I plan to pick that up soon too). I borrowed a copy from my friend and am very excited to get started!

This will be my first time to read any of Angie Thomas' books. I saw there was an E-book available within my local library and got it, so I'm ready for August!

I listened to this on audio in December 2019. I loved it and I hope you do to. I highly recommend the audio.

First Angie Thomas book. I'm listening to the audio. So far it's making me feel very old and very white.

I am so excited for this book! I recently finished The Hate U give on audiobook and now have very high expectations for this Angie Thomas book!

I haven't heard of this author or book until now. Not my usual genre, and I am looking forward to a different type of read! Got the audio book just now on Libby. Fortuitous timing - I just finished book 7 in the Armand Gamache series. :)

i’m pretty excited to read this book and i’ve never read it before but since i don’t have the physical copy i’ll just listen to the audiobook
