The Dragon’s Blame
- [ ] Right, so what I got out of this is, everything is grey and it’s the dragon’s fault and Emory is about the kill said dragon which will hopefully make everything back to normal
- [ ] Okay so far, a good premise but I hope there is more
Emory’s Hands
- [ ] It seems like Emory was always very busy and adventurous
- [ ] I do find it sweet he talks to his mother about everything
- [ ] I like how he knows himself, like his mind and body, he knows not to trust his mind during certain times and let his body take control.
The Dragon’s Lair
- [ ] Oh man, so is he climbing up to the lair? It’s a pretty long climb
- [ ] Also that was a weird imagery, of him being in his “mother’s juices” ewwww
Pawlin’s Hawk
- [ ] Oh boy, to be king you need a dragon and a damsel, jeez sounds like Shrek
- [ ] I wonder if he will figure out his third weapon, maybe his heart or intelligence?
The Devil’s Eye
- [ ] Eww I can’t believe his father wanted him to eat the heart raw haha
- [ ] These chapters are pretty short and quick to read through, I love it

- [ ] Oooo clever! I like his quick thinking! His intelligence could be his third weapon
- [ ] Hmm I wonder how the damsel would be feeling now that a warrior has come to slay the dragon

Haha I agree, Emory does seem like one, especially when he keeps saying how he saved her and now they are destined for each other, like where is Ama’s Say in this ?!

Yes I like the imagery too and the language, it’s easy to follow and flow with it

Part One was definitely disappointing and a little disturbing in times. Emory started as an arrogant creep. Not likable at all to me. Unfortunately, it only got worse towards the end.
His mother's approval of his conquests of "skin variety" was horrible, especially because of the way he spoke of the girls. Literally like conquests. His father was apparently not much better, with that "here's the raw heart of the rabbit you just killed, why don't you eat it?". I mean, just no.
What shocked me the most was when he reached the castle and peed like a literal animal for God knows what reason. Maybe to mark his territory. That's when I knew I wasn't going to like him.
Plus there some real gems here like: "That is what trees do. That is what they had always done, trees. It was their duty." I'm sorry, I don't believe the trees were properly informed of their so-called duty. Maybe you should hold an audience to remind them. 😹
And this one that really killed me: "He was womb-bound, eyes unopened, breathing and swimming in the hot stew of his mother’s juice."
It's just not acceptable to talk about your mother's juice.

Yep, Emory is a complete idiot and it only got worse from there. Yeah the marking of his territory was completely ridiculous and yet so like him to do it
