Zoeisbookhooked I love YA Fantasy! But some are just jammed packed with romance. I love the nice romance in The Hunger Games and in The Darkest Minds and Divergent you know? But when it’s like ACOTAR I can’t stand that lol. And light romance Ya Fantasy books you recommend?

Krystal (krystallee6363) Akarnae
Three Dark Crowns
Rebel of the Sands

These are the first ones that come to mind!

Zoeisbookhooked Thank you! I read about them and they all look amazing! Also how did you make a direct link to the book?

Krystal (krystallee6363) Above the comment box there's a link that says 'add book/author' which you can use to search! I don't know if it's available if you're using the app though.

Lynne Stringer | 344 comments There's the Shadowfell trilogy by Juliet Marillier Shadowfell (Shadowfell, #1) by Juliet Marillier if you like high fantasy, or any of Jeanette O'Hagan's books. Jeanette O'Hagan

You might also enjoy the Under the Never Sky trilogy by Veronica Rossi. Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi

Natty❤Malec (nattymalec) The romance in Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is very subtle

Jeanette I just finished The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu and really enjoyed it - there are just hints of Romance.

Maybe also The Diviners by Libba Bray - there is romance in that series, but I feel it's not dominating everything and the story itself is not about romance.

Zoeisbookhooked Thank you guys all so much. I’ve taken all those books into thought! I’ve wanted to read The Diviners!! These are all so helpful.

Rosie (rosieanais) Literally any book by Rick Riordan. They’re really good and not too big on the romance aspect. Or alternatively, one of the Rick Riordan Presents books like Dragon Pearl (which has no romance at all).

May | 206 comments Oooo, i love to recommend books!!!!!!

So Keeper of the Lost cities does not have a lot romance, you deffinantly see a crush though! By the 8 th book there is som romantic implications but nothing to over the top romantic. It is a cute story.

A long walk to water is a non-fiction book that is told as if you were right there with the character. I did not know it was non-fiction until the end.😂 It is an amazing book and is one I recommend to anybody!

Another huge romantic book is ashes in the snow. This is a realistic fiction. There is a romance but it is not heavy. She likes a guy but it is mostly about her time in a consintration camp, or on a beet farm.... and another place but I don't want to spoil.

I hope you like the recommendations. Happy Reading!

Sofia (sofloaf) The Books of Pellinor are practically romance-free, but it doesn't take away from the story.

Danielle Young (y311) | 14 comments There are a few for you. You can readMagic Unleashed Venators by Devri Walls, or the M.R. MerrickProtector Series by M.R. Merrick both are good and light on romance but epic on fantasy!

This series is a favourite of mine. It is about necromancy in a made up land/kingdom. I've read other things by Garth Nix and they're ya romance lite/free.

Seth Haley | 20 comments I think Twilight is an incredible YA book if you like your books romance free, you just have to know where to look. You might want to start your reading with the title and maybe a bit of the blurb on the back of the book, but don't open it up and read anything inside it as the rest of the book is pretty heavy on the romance side.

Delia Tomkus (deliatomkus) Rebel of the sands was good if I recall, children of blood and bone is supposed to be good(I’m halfway through, it’s pretty good)
