You might also enjoy the Under the Never Sky trilogy by Veronica Rossi.

Maybe also The Diviners by Libba Bray - there is romance in that series, but I feel it's not dominating everything and the story itself is not about romance.

So Keeper of the Lost cities does not have a lot romance, you deffinantly see a crush though! By the 8 th book there is som romantic implications but nothing to over the top romantic. It is a cute story.
A long walk to water is a non-fiction book that is told as if you were right there with the character. I did not know it was non-fiction until the end.😂 It is an amazing book and is one I recommend to anybody!
Another huge romantic book is ashes in the snow. This is a realistic fiction. There is a romance but it is not heavy. She likes a guy but it is mostly about her time in a consintration camp, or on a beet farm.... and another place but I don't want to spoil.
I hope you like the recommendations. Happy Reading!

This series is a favourite of mine. It is about necromancy in a made up land/kingdom. I've read other things by Garth Nix and they're ya romance lite/free.

Oh yes! Definitely recommend Six of Crows!

I REALLY recommend Six of crows, by Leigh Bardugo. The romance is subtle but you love them the same (or even more)
