mob bosses.
They'd get it. People aren't always challenged in that regards.
Some people get confused though. But it is Hayley's group and if she wants it to stay as "Gangster bosses" in the description then it will stay.
They're basically the same thing anyways, but the name is just different.

That's why I said basically. But i think the difference is more distinct now than it used to be personally, but I could be mistaken.

Also, please note that you could also just call them crime bosses. That's always a fun alternative. Plus, there are a shit ton of crime family/organizations from varying countries. So, I'd think about that first.

and this group is seriously historically inaccurate. You shouldn't make a group set in a certain time period unless you plan on putting in the effort to go online and check your facts and make this accurate to the time period. They are Mob bosses, not Gangsters or Gangster bosses. Heck, they're closer to Crime Lords or Crime Bosses more than 'gangsters' because if you recall, a gangster is 'A wannabe thug, often illiterate and an inhabitant of a downtrodden ghetto that hangs around in "gangs"' While a Mobster is 'A Mafia Member' so if you want to make this historically accurate then they should be Mob Bosses and Mobsters not Gangs and Gangsters.
I'm sorry if I'm ranting, but honestly? Historical inaccuracy in an online forum, where you're already halfway there to checking the facts really ticks me off.

And as for the font I'll change it :)

Thanks these will come in useful when researching :)

If you're doing 1920 history at school then you should already know they are referred to as Mobsters, Mob Bosses and/or Crime bosses/lords and you wouldn't need people telling you as such.

I'm just saying that Al Capone is not a mobster but a gangster and nearly all my books refer to them as gangsters and not mobsters. I can change it if you so wish as I have no wish for people to keep disagreeing with me about it.

I'm just asking for accuracy as maybe in this day and age we think of him as a gangster but in the 1920's he was known as a mobster. That's all I'm saying.

I'm out. Shouldn't have stepped in in the first place cause I should have known groups like this would be this way and it doesn't matter to y'all in the end.
The font is there, but its the same one from before that's hard to read.

Taken from the same article, by the way.
So, you should be using Mob Boss.
Gangsters are currently more associated with gangs, which were still a thing back then, mind you.

Okay I'll change it and if you guys have read the threads in the past 10 minutes you will realise I have already changed the gangster thing.

And okay give me five minutes and I'll try and find one that's readable.

the font in the group description is seriously hard to read.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you... and I did change it.
