I know this is technically more than half, but I didn't want to break this one into three sections since it seems like a quicker read.

How did you like this book? Were you satisfied by the ending?

What do you think of the title? Who was the peach keeper?

What themes jumped out to you as you were reading?

Which characters did you like the best?

How will you be rating this one?

Any quotes or other thoughts you'd like to share please do!

Kristi (sweetheavenlygrace) I just finished the book and am happy with the end results. I think my favorite part was the growth of the main four characters. To learn and know who you and not be afraid to go forth is inspirational.

I really enjoyed the magical elements as well, it gave it that special touch.

I gave the book 4 stars.

Thanks for choosing this book Krista. I'm not sure I would have read or come across it otherwise. :-)

Elizabeth Tavares I just finished this and ended up giving it 4 stars.

It was a sweet, charming, feel good story, exactly what I needed. I really enjoyed reading this and will look for more SAA books.

My favorite parts of the book involved the grandmother's story about their friendship. Reading those parts actually made me a little teary eyed!

I'm glad Willa and Paxton become friends in the end and they both get their happily ever after.

Kate | 39 comments I loved this book! I grew to care for and love all the characters, the romance was sweet and there was just the right amount of magic and mystery. I loved how the female characters enjoyed the promise of a relationship in their lives, but did not lose sight of each other or other female friends. I loved the parallels between Willa and Paxton and Agatha and Georgie. This was a perfect selection for August, and a good book to read as I am enjoying this year's peaches. This was my first book by Sarah Addison Allen, and it definitely won't be my last!

Karen Reineke | 16 comments Loved this book! It was exactly what I needed.

Debbi Faust I liked the title. I am not sure who the "peach keeper" was. Maybe it was Agatha? I am curious as to what everyone else thinks?

The book had several themes but I think #1 was friendship and always be there for your friends no matter what. #2 It is imporatant to be yourself and not worry about what other people think.

I think I liked Colin Osgood the best. He was the most uncomplicated personality in the book.

This was another good pick, Krista. I did like the book very much and gave it 4 stars.

I just realized I never gave my final thoughts. I just loved this book so much! Love that one of the characters from Garden Spells shows up! That was a fun touch.

I just love the way SAA entwines just a touch of magic into relationships and situations that feel so real. I love the focus on female friendships, both between the grandmothers and then Paxton and Willa. I love Paxton's grandma so much and the way she "protected" Georgie right up to the end. Gah. It was all just so lovely!

I ended up giving this one 5 stars. What a lovely summer read.

Tiki-Tami Great book choice! Loved reading this book. I cared about these characters right from the beginning. I feel like there is a whole other book to be written maybe a prequel about the 4 main characters back when they were in high school. There is something about the connection we have with people that knew us before we know ourselves. I loved the Grandmas. I think Agatha was the peach keeper. A perfect summer read with a touch of magic, romance, & mystery.

Lisa (spevniak) | 4 comments Just finished. I loved this book. The four main characters were great as was Agatha. I am sad that I have now finished all of SAA books. 😥 o have enjoyed all of them but this was near the top song with Garden spells. 4.5 stars. Great choice!

Kim Kantor (kimkantor) | 92 comments Really enjoyed this book. I really love the friendship theme and how, especially as women, we need to watch out for each other. That’s a sad but true fact of life.
I will say I can’t even pick one character i liked the most. I think that another theme of the book was the strength of each character, primarily the women, but also Sebastian. It takes so much strength to come to terms with who you really are at the end of the day, and i think for the grandmothers, Willa, Paxton and Sebastian, that rang true. Colin was just a cute hunk to add to it! Lol. A really feel-good book for mid August!

Marylou | 5 comments I really enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars. I loved the ending. I think Agatha is the peach keeper as she held to her promise of keeping Georgie's secret. I think the themes of friendship and of coming into your own struck me the most. I loved Willa and Paxton the most. I think that is all of your questions!

I loved the growth in the characters and in their relationships. I will be thinking about this book for a while. I am glad they all managed to come to terms with themselves.

Kathleen (kathleen425) | 5 comments Despite this book having moments of charm, I didn't really like it all that much. Yes, it had a positive message about friendship and the importance of such. I just thought the writing was mediocre. I give it 3 stars.

Theresa | 57 comments Sorry I am late writing this. I really enjoyed this book and it was my first by this author. I do own Garden Spells but never got around to reading it. It drew me in right away and kept my interest till the end. I did like the ending but not really the title. I gave it 4 stars and I will try to read more by her soon.
What other questions : I liked all the characters and liked the talk of true friendship.
