Sarah (calypte) | 84 comments Nothing novel in the "I must push you away for your own good", although intriguing to finally start getting more info on the baddy and those circumstances - more of that, please!

But, oh, the crushing disappointment that awful family are doing so well. I wanted them to have a huge comeuppance! Time yet, with glimmers that not all is perfect ..!

I’m not really finding any of the perilous scenes in this book that believable. Feyre seems more and more like a simpleton, incapable of following anyone’s advice, while the rest seem incapable of logical conversation, and don’t give any reasons for their actions. It just seems like lazy writing, as there is no depth to any of Maas’ scene work, just Feyre doing a thing that makes her feel sleepy or dizzy, while everyone else curses under their breath. And that moment at the end where her whole family are suddenly wealthy and well spoken. Personalities don’t change that fast in a few months!
