Ooh you're fast! :-) I'm still doing the "getting-back-to-adult-life" today, hopefully I can start tonight before bed.

I only read the intro to my copy of the Trilogy of Four and it's states that there are many differences between the different books, the series, the radio show and the movie. I wonder what we all can find reading our different versions of HGTTG! :-p

How's the reading going? Mine is going slow... Even though I have watched the series last weekend, this writing is so all over the place I am having a bit of a hard time with it. I know I don't need to make sense of this chaos, but my brain tries to anyway. If I read only short chapters, I can manage and it remains fun.
I like that there is more on the Beeblebrox story in the book, the entire thing about him stealing the Heart of Gold is hilarious!

Just finished the first one! How is everyone else's read going? Do you like it so far?
I got rather into it over the weekend, the extra back-stories are rather nice even though some things are indeed different than the radio- and television series. At first, when I was still struggling with the chaos, I wanted to read other books between the HGTTG-books, but I now think I will just continue with the Restaurant at the end of the Universe instead.

How are you all doing? Do you like the book(s)?
I finished the second book the Restaurant at the End of the Universe this morning, but before I continue on the Trilogy of Four I will read the Caller by Karin Fossum. I borrowed it from the library and it needs to be returned soon. I've been waiting for it to be available for weeks... You know how it goes!
I am curious to find out what's next though, as the radio/television series didn't go beyond. It's also hard for me to explain what this series are all about as there is SO MUCH going on. But I love most of it. And have had many laughs so far. <3

After camp is over, and all us three new mods being part of Troop42, it seems fun to read the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams together. Who wants to join in?
There seem to be multiple editions going round. I have a couple myself. Which one will you be reading? Will you just do the main book? Or the combined trilogy? Or are you going all out with the complete 5-part box set?
I would love to hear from you all!
Grtz,
