BookWhispers | 21 comments These two culprits are common causes for writers' confusion. No wonder, they are so similar in form and meaning. To complicate matters even more, lie can show up as a verb and a noun. And lay as a verb, noun, and even an adjective. Let's make it clear once and for all.

This post is older, but I just have to say how much I like it ;)
As a non-native speaker, I do my best to get everything right, and while it's comforting to know that even native speakers seem to mix up these two once in a while, it makes reading to improve your language skills a little harder than necessary - because you have to ask yourself if what you just read is actually correct and you just learned it the wrong way in the past.
