I...um... am only 40 pages in right now.

despite having this book and not needing to hunt for it, looks like I'm still probably only going to finish it right before the live show lol

@Sukhroop yup. it’s really intriguing so far and there’s an f/f romance between some side characters.

I wrote almost 3 pages of notes from when I read it like 2 weeks ago. I'm ready

I started it today! I’m 15% through and I’m loving it...except for one trope that’s aggravating me and sukhroopandbooks knows lol but the all consuming love trope and the love at first sight stuff is a no from me like it’s so unrealistic 😤😤😤

Yup I can't wait to talk about that trope in the live show! It's going to be interesting! I just can't really differentiate the characters, am not really interested in where the story's going, and overall the only thing I'm enjoying is the side characters and the writing!

@Ava_Bookish YAAASS If I can't get with the writing, then it'll be so much harder for me to enjoy that book!

@Kat I think you're talking about, like, how much the universe is being mentioned in this book, which if you are that's annoying me a lot as well! Like, it's completely okay for the characters to use it, but I'm only a few chapters in and they're praising the universe as if their actions have no effect on anything, and they can't do anything. And yeah we'll definitely make a reminder the day before! It's August 30th at 3 PM EST.

@Kat Yeah I just need to start making my way through the book, but today I just wasn't feeling well. Hopefully I can read a lot tomorrow! So anxious for the ending lol. Will it be good? Will it be bad? Will it be meh? We'll see. Of course! I had so much fun with the live show as well! I'm so happy that I decided to overcome my fear and ask some of my fav Booktubers if they wanted to do this with me, and I honestly cannot wait for the 30th!

oh yes. i finished it long ago, i mean just when August started. lol. it didn't please me a bit though. the love at first site trope was the first problematic thing and the problems just continued.

@Sukhroop definitely agree with not being able to differentiate between their voices. plus the never ending pop-culture references, just felt cumbersome to me.
