I've read both, but honestly I can't remember for certain if texting was part of the storytelling ....... I only remember phone calls in The Chain (but that doesn't mean it doesn't have texting, it would make sense it would), but I'm pretty sure The Flatshare would work.

Hi Lynn,
I just finished read the Chain and it does have some texting in it. They text via the Wickr app to ensure encryption, but it's there. So I guess this would also be a great option in that category. :)

It wasn't perfect. I had an instinct about the climax much earlier. I could see where it was going. But even so, the book has some really gut wrenching moments, which were quite enjoyable.

That's disappointing. I had The Chain on my TBR, but took it off a while ago. There are just so many other books I want to read more.

I'm currently reading The Coast-to-Coast Murders by James Patterson & J.D. Barker and there is texting in it for anyone that is still looking.

I think it's one that I'll read if one of my book clubs reads it or if it fits a challenge or something like that. Otherwise, I'm in no hurry.

Also, for Texting, My Lovely Wife definitely has it for key parts of the book. I really liked the book, too.
