I'm only 4 months late to welcoming you, but like you said, this year has been weird.
It looks like you've done quite well on reading 50+ books this year, as well as your goals to read more female and Asian authors! Nice job! Did you find any new favorite authors?

Thanks for the welcome! I'm happy to say I somehow succeeded in reading more Asian authors, but in 2021 I want to have more of a balanced reading experience haha My new favorites are Koji Suzuki, Natsuo Kirino, and Clarissa Goenawan without a doubt!
Books mentioned in this topic
Monday's Not Coming (other topics)The Dragon Republic (other topics)
Conjure Women (other topics)
Spiral (other topics)
Breasts and Eggs (other topics)
Books I usually buy second hand when traveling or in my city, borrow from friends, buy on Audible, or get via library (or the Libby app, which I guess it's the same thing).
This year I am aiming to read more female authors and more Asian authors. Will be editing this stats as I go:
Female authors: 32 books (59.26%)
Asian authors: 27 books (50%)
