It’s just the main character’s twin brother and his best friend are gay. But the main characters are not a LGBT story.

I’m enjoying this story so much I forgot to stop and comment. Chapter 16 (view spoiler)[ I’m really enjoy how sweet this story is. The slow development of Vada and Luke’s relationship. They are really cute friends right now, really like each other but neither of them knows that. I love how much they are alike, how they talk through music and have an awesome connection. Absolutely love Phil and how he looks out for Vada and really dislike her father Marcus. He’s a terrible father. I’m really looking forward to the dancing, music compensation. (hide spoiler)]

Oh! I had forgotten about the brother. I was thinking of the MCs.

I loved this book so much! It was just perfect YA book for me.

Finished: (view spoiler)[I liked that they didn't try and do some last minute turnaround with Marcus' character at the end. He wasn't a good father and continued to show his bad side. Luke was awesome the way he handled drunk Marcus and stood up for Vada. Phil proposing and being such a stand support for Vada, made me love him even more. Luke's dad Charlie worried me a little pushing Luke to pursue really Charlie's dreams, but he totally redeemed himself. I loved his parents relationship they were so cute. Her best friend Meg was sweet interesting character and I look forward to her book. I loved Luke stepping up and preforming at the end to say Liberty Live for Vada and Phil and Charlie playing with him was amazing. This was just a great feel good YA story. The slow build of Luke and Vada's relationship was filled with so many feel good moments. I teared up in good way so much in this story. I put this one on my favorite shelf and highly recommend it.
