New Jersey bounty hunter Stephanie Plum has always had a soft spot for her zany Grandma Mazur. While on a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas, Grandma decided to tie the knot with small-time hoodlum Jimmy Rosolli. Said marriage lasted 45 minutes before Jimmy dropped dead of a heart attack leaving Grandma a widow once again. It is rumored that Jimmy held the keys to the "lazy-boy" gang's riches and everyone is certain that he handed them over to Grandma before his demise. Unfortunately, she knows nothing about it but the nefarious people of Trenton don't believe that for a second. Stephanie will do anything to protect Grandma Mazur and there is no end to the line of people wanting to find those keys. Murder, kidnapping, fire bombs and poisoned cookies all play a part in Stephanie's investigation.

This is another fun entry into Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I have quite a fondness for Grandma Mazur myself so it was nice to have her play a starring role, and Morelli and Ranger make for some interesting scenarios.
