I liked this book, but didn't love it. I thought that the plot was interesting, although some of the back story dragged a bit - probably could have lost a chapter or two and been okay. I also thought the side characters needed a little more depth. The main character was very well-developed, and while she was a completely unlikable character, I liked reading her story. But I just didn't get Alls - I think the author could have done a much better job with his character. He was supposed to be important to the main character and important to the plot, but I didn't think there was much to him.
Decent book, interesting plot, but needed a little more to make it really good.
I'm curious to check this one out. I got it as an ARC (advanced readers copy), but I can hold out reading it until week 11. It's the author's debut novel, about a woman who plans a heist with two men, and the two men end up in jail while she gets away clean. The book seems to pick up at the point where the men are being paroled and she's afraid they're going to come after her.
Looks interesting. Can't wait to read it. :)
