I am currently in the middle of reading a mystery series. The next book listed in goodreads says it is 4.5 a Novella. It looks like it is only available as an ebook? I have never done ebooks how dose it work?

Jess:
If the Library owns the eBook, you can check it out and read it on a phone, tablet or eReader!

You can search our catalog (https://catalog.slcolibrary.org/polaris/) to see if we own it and if we do, you can check it out for up to three weeks.

Information on our digital items is here: https://www.slcolibrary.org/what-we-h...

You can see a quick start guide for these services here:

Of course, definitely feel free to give us a call too and we can help walk you through the process! 801.943.4636

Tina B (readinghonor) | 32 comments Some authors don't publish their eBook novellas commercially. If you can't find it in the library catalog, check the author's website. Their website should tell you if there is a free way to read it online.

Jess Myname | 42 comments Thank you for both of your help. I was able to check it out using the Libby app. It actually just became available today. I am glad that I decided to go back and read it as it answers quite a few questions I had as the books went on. But I also glad it was short. I have a difficult time focusing on digital screens so if it had been longer I might have moved on just from the frustration of trying to read it.
