This is so sad! She had a lot going for her except emotional resilience.

I'm emotionally preparing for this book! I feel like my heart is going to break.

Started this today!

I know what you mean about being emotionally prepared. I picked it up a few days ago and I keep looking at it and waiting for the right time, but haven't started yet.

I'm 41% through this book...

Three thoughts:

1. I think every student that is a college athlete should have to read this book.

2. Every parent/guardian of a child that is a college athlete should read this book.

3. I'm personally very thankful for growing up in Wisconsin where ivy league isn't a thing and the pressures that I experienced in college are very different. I live in a state that is largely first generation college students, so going to college in general is huge. The pressure of perfection is very different here.
