In case you missed the announcement, we will be reading Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, and Heir of Fire (the first three books in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas) in the month of February. The read-along dates for each book are in the group description.

For the month of March, our theme is Under-Hyped Books. These can be any books that don't have a lot of buzz on goodreads, booktube, book blogs, etc. As a guideline, try to think of books with under 5000 ratings on goodreads. For example, Doon has a little less than 2000 ratings.

Doon (Doon, #1) by Carey Corp

If you have any suggestions on what we should read, comment them below. In a few days a poll will be up for everyone to vote on.

Kate Elizabeth (k_hodgeyyy) Halo (Blood and Fire, #1) by Frankie Rose Got this free on my kindle a while ago- never heard anything about it on booktube and it only has 812 ratings on goodreads :)

Mrs. Kristin (kristin_kay) | 33 comments I like the suggestion of Doon. I just added it to my wish list!My other suggestions would be Finnikin of the Rock The Thief

message 5: by Kylee (new)

Kylee (kyleeraereader) Holy cow, I honestly just started Doon haha what a coincidence! Maybe I'll stop and see if we decide to read it :p

message 6: by Kylee (new)

Kylee (kyleeraereader) The few I have to suggest are Shadowfell or The Burning Sky or Of Beast and Beauty. These are all books I got from Book Outlet that I haven't heard much of anything about and would be interested in reading :)

Grace (graceisinspace) | 160 comments Just going to ask, about how long are the Throne of Glass books? I want to know if I'm going to have time to read them.

The first two are around 400 pages then the last one is like 550 which is why we gave more time for the last book :)

Nadia Uhlenhaker I want to suggest The Diviners by Libba Bray.

The Diviners sounds interesting, but I wouldn't really say it's under-hyped.

Marcella | 36 comments First Year (The Black Mage, #1) by Rachel E. Carter > First Year by Rachel Carter! Very under-hyped but a pretty kiss-ass start to a good series.

Maybe for a different month/theme.

message 14: by Kylee (new)

Kylee (kyleeraereader) Yeah Alexandria and I have been coming up with lots of different ideas so any books you want to read that might not fit in this theme, could be in the next :)

-Alexia- (bookmaniac612) | 1 comments Doon sounds amazing ❤️

message 16: by Emma (new)

Emma (beatricepriorities) I would like to suggest The Rules by Stacey Kade.

message 17: by Nadia (new)

Nadia Uhlenhaker The Rules sounds good!

message 18: by Breanne (new)

Breanne (breegreen_books) | 20 comments A Map of the Known World and Rush are some really good choices :)

message 19: by Haley (new)

Haley Connolly (liteartha) Noughts & Crosses would be my suggestion but I'm really interested in some of the others mentioned above!

I've heard many people talk about Noughts & Crosses, it has won several awards, and it has over 20 000 ratings on Goodreads, so I wouldn't quite say it's under-hyped. Maybe for a different read-along though :)

Grace (graceisinspace) | 160 comments Confess by Colleen Hoover I don't know much about this but it's on my tbr. There's 105 reviews

The lack of ratings for Confess is due to the fact that it hasn't been released yet. I've heard many great things about Colleen Hoover though. Books that are released before March would be a bit more ideal for this read-along. :)

message 23: by Kylee (new)

Kylee (kyleeraereader) A booktuber I follow just read Dreamwalkers and he absolutely loved it... It has like less than 20 ratings so it's definitely underhyped and I want to read it now after listening to him rave about it.

I would be okay with Dreamwalkers, but it's hard to find a copy.

Grace (graceisinspace) | 160 comments Oh my God I didn't even realize Confess hadn't been released yet lol. Sorry

That's okay :)

message 27: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (raach5897) | 2 comments I'd recommend What's Left of Me, because although it has 10,000 ratings, the subsequent books have less than 5000.

Otherwise I'd recommend Warchild because holy shit that book is as emotional as The Knife of Never Letting Go. Very under-hyped.
