Jannelies (living between hope and fear) | 9 comments Dune! One of my all-time favorites. I'm not going to read it again now, but I'm very curious as what you think about it.
I've read the book 5 times and saw the movie 15 times. I think the movie was great because this is still the only movie where you can feel you are not on Earth anymore...
On the other hand, the book holds a few surprises that are not in the movie.
I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did!

Jannelies (living between hope and fear) | 9 comments This will be a remake of the movie... I don't know what to think of this. The 1984 version (and I've seen the trailer for the 2021 version) still appeals more to me, especially the actors.
However, to each his own...
I think I'll probably want to see the 2021 version to compare it to the book more than to compare it to the 1984 version of the movie.
And not to forget: the absolute magic music, by Eno...
