The Academy of Espionage discussion

Okay you all! So, I know this has been very confusing, and I think this is what I'm going to do: A ranks system.


Level 1: Initiates - most of you are probably initiates. They are either newly arrived or haven't gotten tested yet.
Level 2: Members - a handful of people are members. They go on missions for the academy but don't get any extra payment
Level 3: Commissioners - members that get a small payment for exceeding expectations during missions
Level 4: High Rankers - just a tad higher than commissioners; some skip this stage.
Level 5: Elites - You've guessed it. The highest at the academy, these are the few who have been there the longest
Level 6: Alumni - Graduates of the academy, who are treated as welcome guests. (most of you will not have alumni unless you create an FBI/ISO agent, or you have rped a long time.)

PLEASE NOTE: YOU DO NOT GET TO PICK YOUR RANK. Everyone starts out as an initiate and rise up as instructed. Please don't feel like this is unfair in any way. I'm not favoring my characters either, the only high-ranking character I have is Sadie who has been here for a long time.

HOW TO BECOME A HIGHER RANK:

Initiate to Member: Roleplay often, and you will be promoted to this rank.

Member to Commissioner: Succeed at four or more missions, and you will be awarded that rank

Commissioner to High Ranker: Win three or more sparring matches against the same person.

High Ranker to Elite: this one takes time. Once your character has been at the academy for a long time, Cade will let your character know once they become an Elite.

Alumni - this one is complicated. You may create an alumni that works for either the FBI or the Enemies, you can put that in the 'other' section of the character creation template. They will be able to rp in either the FBI Headquarters or the Enemies HQ, depending on which they work for. They are welcome into the academy as they please, but they may not side or ally with any current student at the academy, no matter the rank. As of right now, we are not having anyone make alumni. We will open that up when we think it's a good time to.

Hope this cleared a few things up! We might discontinue the 'important characters' list, and instead make these ranks. Thanks!
