There is a film version of the book. My husband was watching it on Turner Classic Movies a couple of weeks ago, in a different room. I asked him not to tell me anything about it, in case I get a chance to read the book sometime.

yes you won't want to know. It was changed to take place in London, an excellent film, which I have seen quite a lot.

Don't read the back cover of the book! My copy had a bit of a spoiler.

I enjoyed it also, Kathy, and like you didn't figure it out until the end. I call that good mystery writing.

I gave it 5-stars although I was thinking I should give it 4, but my personal rating is: If i would like to read it again it gets 5-stars. So 5-stars it is!
Great book really. I'm glad I nominated it last year so that I ended up reading it ☺️

But my cover is different - bright orange title and bright orange spine. The cover isn't on GR. I think the publisher used the actors from the movie on the cover.
