Play Book Tag discussion

The sequel and conclusion to the graphic novel Wires and Nerve was a little better than the first book. There was more action, intrigue, and even a budding android romance thrown in. The rogue wolf alpha Lysander Steele has gathered his followers and plans to attack during the Earthen festival that Cinder will attend, finally reuniting with Emperor Kai after so long apart. Naturally this will be a great opportunity to assassinate her.

Not a bad book, just not really my cup of tea. The graphic novel format may be easier to read, but I still prefer regular text. The illustrations were okay, but I wish they had been in full color instead of monochromatic blue. The story was more robust than I expected, ending quite cleverly and satisfactorily. A solid 3 stars.
