Finished ch 2

Agreed! So entertaining, i already am loving these guys a lot. Seem very different and shall be fun to see them develop together, opposites are always great to see.

The writing is beautiful as always, and i enjoyed those quotes too! So perfect.

I love that already learning about their histories and whats formed their views, able to see both sides and the impact of their lifestyles to how they're.

Like Oliver looking towards civilisation, rules and law after going theough the mayhem of war. While Jack seeks justice in his own way, as thats what his learned to do.

Im loving it so far 💕

Yay!!!! That's what I love most about this, seeing the two stubborn idiots work together. They're so cute ^^

I finished chapter 6 this morning. I love those two together. The interactions between Jack and Georgie are so precious (he gets the second book)!

Awesome, i am going to try catch up tonight. Sadly didn't get much reading time yesterday, as buggered my finger at work from basketball. Ended up going minor injuries and xray after. Just tissue damage not break thankfully, very bruised and swollen at moment though. Rather annoying...

eeeeew. I did that bowling once. tried to get a new balling ball, didn't take my hand away fast enough as the next one came out of the machine thingy, and my finger ended up caught between them. Hurt like the devil. Hope you feel better soon!!!!

Thanks! Yeah its killer, shocking how much pain from a finger. Its not too bad now, unless knock it as ive taped to other finger to support. Lol its the small tasks like tying my hair or laces or typing on computer that most annoying 😂

Oh the little things you take for granted :D don't worry about catching up if you don't feel like reading, I just got an ARC I started today that sounds actually interesting. For an m/f HR. I know, I was shocked, too :D The one reason I clicked on it was that it was THE ONLY HR on NetGalley that didn't have the word "duke" in the title. There is a Duke in the series, but so far, second son, suddenly in line for an earldom after his older brother died. GASP :D

I shall still enjoy reading, got a couple books going is all for challenges too. So will see how goes to catch up. Just back from shopping so got the rest of evening to chill.

Finished Ch 4 and wow the chemistry between these too is beautiful, all those light touches and getting close so much tension. That fight scene in the alley and the sharing the cane, working together was amazing... The information slowly learning about each other, regonising Jacks accent and his knowledge.

Oliver wanting to be helpful, but at the same time having his own worries over blackmail and making own justice. Im curious to learn more of his history in war, what specifically happened to give him these views. I adore him and his so adorable, his struggling through pain and trying to find purpose.

I know. They're just precious together :D And apart. They're both awesome :D

Just finished ch 6 and i am in love with these two, their chemistry is so sweet and hot in equal measure. The kisses in the entrance, the flirting and the discussions.

Getting to know each other and progress in plot too, i usually hate mystery but im enjoying it here as gets to show these two in their elements. Jack sneaking around and gathering information on his way, while Oliver does in the club and his views. Their opposites attract so well here.

Oh and i adore Georgie already! Xx

I am loving it so far though and rather enjoying going slow, as im sure be easy to binge with how much fun Jack and Oliver are.

Oh nope, im an apprentice teaching assistant. So working in a school, i have assignments as well to get qualification.

Awesome! I never went University as didn't interest and i wasn't sure what i wanted to do. Took few years doing various odd jobs to find what i enjoy.

This is my 2nd apprenticeship, i enjoy practical work more then the course stuff in general. Im that person who rushes to finish it all the night before due 😂

Cool. I forgot how much easier it is to do that anywhere but here (seriously, don't ask).

😂 me too. I finished my thesis a few days before my deadline and only put the finishing touches on it the very day it was due 🙈

Yeah its been pretty good so far, especially considering all the covid lockdown in middle. Ive still managed to progress onunits so been good. (Oh ok, i always forget how can be in different areas)

Lol ok that makes me feel better, i mean at least it gets done right 😂

Sorry took a while, but been trying to catch up today. Finished ch 10 and wow those chapters sped by, the development between these two is beautiful and those slow burn feels.

They come from such different places and the support they give each other is lovely, even when they don't always understand each other. Such as money and interactions, its interesting to see them work together using their own specialties.

Oh and i love that Oliver is being more forward too! The push and pull between them is wonderful, they have incredible chemistry and i adore seeing them start to realize falling in love.

The horses and Jacks cards, the inns and Olivers boots... Just so much fun. Going to try catch up to ch 12 tonight x

Agreed! Perfect apology, Oliver and Jack have such different views on justice and their backgrounds impact them. Yet they love each other despite it 💕

Wow... Just finished ch 17 and action hit quick. I adored Jack using his talents and telling tales on Oliver, to get the gossip and keep woman away. His wonderful, the injury and the steam... Incredible.

I love how everything came together with the mystery too, Wraxhall and Olivers chat. How sweet and heartbreaking it was. The realisations and revelations. Of course Jack knew, it was great.

All of the love and feels! So much beautiful writing and i enjoyed every moment, off to finish the book now 💕

You did! I was happy to see the girls got a novella, they had amazing chemistry. Although i don't read shorts in general.

Oh hell yes, that broke my heart but such a beautiful true saying... And i could understand why, but i was delighted to see Oliver then take lead to bring himself lower so he could be with Jack. Im glad Jack stopped him though as they truly love each other for their differences and its so sweet!

The ending with them discussing the stairs and planning life together. Viking or angel both fit, such a sweet ending 💕

Georgie is so fun in all of his scenes, his certainly interesting. Shall be intrigued to see his story, as his still rather a mystery. He can blend into both xx

He is a mystery that one. But a sweet one. Especially when he meets his match. Oh, they are so perfect together. He makes Georgie care. He is so adorably disgusted at that :D
