Tournament of Books discussion

Get in your predictions for the first round of the (almost) Final Four.

I still haven't read either but I'm going with Tree of Smoke. It seems to have the most steam going through the tourney of the two.

There was a lot more praise heaped on Tree of Smoke in the rounds it won. I think it will advance.

Really? I feel like all the praise for Tree of Smoke has been kind of reluctant- it seems like it's been mostly, "Well, I didn't really enjoy it, but it was better than the other book." So my pick is "Then We Came to the End."

I haven't read Tree of Smoke, but I really like Then We Came to the End. If I'd managed to get my final four and champion picks in on time, I would have picked Tree of Smoke to take it all, but I think I'll pick with my heart instead and go with the Ferris.
