The actual murders of those girls were vicious and inhuman. It helped me to figure out it would have to be someone completely devoid of a conscience or humanity. It’s one of the reasons why William was at the bottom of my list of suspects...his love and kindness toward his daughter, Lucy, was in conflict with what was done to those girls.

I agree about William. I also think it was meant to be a bit of a red herring; it caused me to focus on one killer vs two.


Sharon, I’ve definitely learned that over the years of discussions. It’s especially true when you’re listening to the story.
