Kim returns to Crestwood at night, on her own, and with a dead cell phone. She’s captured by the killer. Why did she take such a risk?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Exactly. This was the only weakness in the storyline for me. I immediately thought, Why would she do this!! It tipped over into a TSTL moment. But I suppose this is vintage Kim. She is so single minded when she gets into the zone and she is also confident in her own abilities physically to handle just about anything. Although with what happened it shows that she is not invincible and sometimes she does need other people to support her. I hope she takes it as a lucky escape and learns from it.

Shelby (whiskeygirl75) | 31 comments I think she just goes all in not really thinking about the consequences of her actions, but she also got to let William be a hero

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree Shelby. It is Kim's tunnel vision. Having William turn into a hero for his daughter is a plus.

I gave her a break because while we were aware the killer was tracking her, she had no clue he was anywhere near her. Plus, her phone died right before she entered the building. If she hadn’t been so focused on getting those dentures (there’s that tunnel vision), she might have stopped for two minutes to reconsider. It was a perfect storm of events.

Lynn (ftbooklover) It might even go beyond tunnel vision to obsession.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Good point Lynn. That's why she needs her team around her especially Bryant and Woody to step in when she goes over the line.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I agree with Jonetta. She was on a mission to get the dentures and had no reason to think the killer would be following her or lingering in the area. I can see this happening. Of course, as soon as her phone went dead, we knew that Kim was in trouble.
