I finished the prequels and started The Wrath and the Dawn just now

I'm really interested in learning about Khalid, he doesn't seem like a bad guy, for a serial murderer! (hide spoiler)]

I read upto 20% and honestly I'm really intrigued. I'm excited to see what comes next.

The reason why the girls are killed still isn't revealed and I like the suspense. I also like that Khalid and Shazi are starting to have some feeling for each other

I'm 40%in! (view spoiler)[ I really love Shazi, she's so fearless. Her boyfriend is coming to rescue her which is super sweet but he's probably going to die.

I'm almost done with the book. I couldn't put it down, its sooo good.

I love Khalid but my heart also hurts for Tariq. he truly loves Shazi for who she is and its so obvious that he'd do anything to get his love back. But I also kind of ship Shazi with Khalid because he is not the monster that he seems. During Tariq's visit to the palace in place of his father through forged invitation, I was lowkey shipping Tariq with Shazi. But now I want Khalid and Shazi to be together. Khalid finally found something he can hold on to and ahh it breaks my heart that Tariq and Shazi's father are planning a war

70% in, I'm absolutely loving this!!

I hate Tariq in this moment, I get that he's heartbroken but so is Shazi! She doesn't want him and he doesn't care what she wants. I'm irrationally blaming him for everything right now. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah same I agree. I blame Tariq as well but it's actually Shazi's father who started this cursed storm

Yeah i think he's become a bit unhinged, all the magic has addled his brain.
