Thailand
Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand and formerly known as Siam, is a country in Southeast Asia. The capital and largest city is Bangkok. Thailand is bordered to the north by Myanmar and Laos, to the east by Laos and Cambodia, to the south by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, and to the west by the Andaman Sea and the southern extremity of Myanmar. Its maritime boundaries include Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand to the southeast, and Indonesia and India on the Andaman Sea to the southwest. Nominally, Thailand is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy; however, in recent history, its government has experienced multiple coups and periods of military dictatorships.
Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components and a spicy edge. Traditional Thai cuisine loosely falls into four categories: tom (boiled dishes), yam (spicy salads), tam (pounded foods), and gaeng (curries). Thai food is known for its use of fresh herbs and spices. Common flavors in Thai food come from garlic, galangal, coriander/cilantro, lemon grass, shallots, pepper, kaffir lime leaves, shrimp paste, fish sauce, and chilies. Palm sugar, made from the sap of certain Borassus palms, is used to sweeten dishes while lime and tamarind contribute sour notes. Meats used in Thai cuisine are usually pork and chicken, and also duck, beef, and water buffalo. Noodles are usually made from either rice flour, wheat flour or mung bean flour. Khanom chin is fresh rice vermicelli made from fermented rice, and eaten with spicy curries such as green chicken curry (khanom chin kaeng khiao wan kai) or with salads such as som tam .Other varieties of rice eaten in Thailand include: sticky rice (khao niao), a unique variety of rice which contains an unusual balance of the starches present in all rice, causing it to cook up to a sticky texture.
There is a lot to see and do in Thailand. The Grand Palace, Mon Cham for great views, the train night market, and lots of shrines and museums. There are also many festivals, palaces and castles to see. Another must is the Lake Phuket Elephant Nursery and Treetop Elephant Reserve and don't forget the beaches, diving and snorkeling.

Paraguay

Paraguay is one of only two landlocked countries in South America (the other is Bolivia), the country has coasts, beaches and ports on the Paraguay and Paraná rivers that give exit to the Atlantic Ocean through the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway. Due to its central location in South America, it is sometimes referred to as Corazón de Sudamérica ("Heart of South America"). In 1537, they established the city of Asunción, which was the first capital of the Governorate of Paraguay and Río de la Plata. Following independence from Spain at the beginning of the 19th century, Paraguay was ruled by a series of authoritarian governments who generally implemented nationalist, isolationist and protectionist policies. This period ended with the disastrous Paraguayan War (1864–70), during which Paraguay lost at least 50% of its prewar population and around 25–33% of its territory to the Triple Alliance of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. In the 20th century, Paraguay faced another major international conflict—the Chaco War (1932–35)—against Bolivia, from which the Paraguayans emerged victorious. Afterwards, the country entered a period of military dictatorships, ending with the 35 year regime of Alfredo Stroessner that lasted until he was toppled in 1989 by an internal military coup. This marked the beginning of the "democratic era" of Paraguay.

Paraguay is a bilingual country where both Spanish and Guaraní (an aboriginal language) are spoken indistinctively and sometimes even mixed. Due to this bilingualism some of the dishes have names in Guaraní, some in Spanish, and some in a mixture of both languages. Some of the dishes and drinks you might come across in Paraguay are Tereré which is a mix of herbs called yerba to which cold water is added, chipia a bread kneaded with yuca starch, cheese, eggs, milk and aniseed, Mbeju is a staple of Paraguyan diet which is a starch cake, Bori Bori a thick soup with dumplings and sometimes chicken, empanadas, Puchero a traditional stew and Sopa So'o a layer of ground beef sandwiched between two layers of Sopa Paraguya cake.

Paraguya has quite a few things you should visit. First you should go to Asuncion. This South-American destination is one of the oldest cities in the continent. The stunning location along with a welcoming culture is something that is rare to find. Second is Saltos Del Monday which has fantastic waterfalls. There is also a national park, the town of Encarnacion and the Jesuit ruins.

1. Read a book set in South America.
2. Read a book that is either a book of your heart (one you love) or a romance.

Kenya
Kenya is a country in Eastern Africa. With a population of more than 47.6 million people, Kenya is the 29th most populous country. Kenya's capital and largest city is Nairobi, while its oldest city and first capital is the coastal city of Mombasa. Kisumu City is the third largest city and also an inland port on Lake Victoria. Kenya is the third largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa after Nigeria and South Africa. Kenya is bordered by South Sudan to the northwest, Ethiopia to the north, Somalia to the east, Uganda to the west, Tanzania to the south, and the Indian Ocean to the southeast.
The traditional food of Kenya, is as mixed and diverse as it’s tribe's, history and landscapes. Each tribal area has it’s own specials , but there are some common dishes that you can sample whilst on your travels in Kenya. Some dishes you might eat during your travels are Matoke (Plantain Banana Stew), Nyama Choma (Roasted Meat) – Pride of Kenyan Food, Irio (Mashed Peas and Potato Mix), and lots of rice both spicy and coconut. They also have stews, and doughnuts, . The undeniable most common Kenyan food staple is ugali – usually made from cornmeal that is added to boiling water and heated until it turns into a dense block of cornmeal paste. Ugali has the consistency of a grainy dough and the heaviness of a brick. For many Kenyans, ugali along with a small amount of cooked vegetables or saucy stew is a normal meal.
Kenya has a lot of things for visitors to see the Gedi Ruins, an abandoned city hidden from the world by tropical forest and isolation on the coast of Kenya, Giraffe Manor, the Animal Orphanage, the Ali Barbour's Cave Restaurant where you can drink and dine in a coral cave, the Donkeys of Lamu Island, and so much more.

Madagascar
Madagascar is an island country in the Indian Ocean, approximately 250 miles off the coast of East Africa. At 228,900 sq mi Madagascar is the world's second-largest island country. Human settlement of Madagascar occurred between 350 BC and 550 AD by Indianized Austronesian peoples, arriving on outrigger canoes from the Indonesian archipelago. These were joined around the 9th century AD by Bantu migrants crossing the Mozambique Channel from East Africa. Other groups continued to settle on Madagascar over time, each one making lasting contributions to Malagasy cultural life. The Malagasy ethnic group is often divided into 18 or more subgroups, of which the largest are the Merina of the central highlands.
Foods eaten in Madagascar reflect the influence of Southeast Asian, African, Indian, Chinese and European migrants that have settled on the island since it was first populated by seafarers from Borneo. Throughout almost the entire island, the contemporary cuisine of Madagascar typically consists of a base of rice served with an accompaniment; in the official dialect of the Malagasy language, the rice is termed vary ([ˈvarʲ]), and the accompaniment, laoka ([ˈlokə̥]). The many varieties of laoka may be vegetarian or include animal proteins, and typically feature a sauce flavored with such ingredients as ginger, onion, garlic, tomato, vanilla, salt, curry powder, or, less commonly, other spices or herbs. In parts of the arid south and west, pastoral families may replace rice with maize, cassava, or curds made from fermented zebu milk. A wide variety of sweet and savory fritters as well as other street foods are available across the island, as are diverse tropical and temperate-climate fruits. Locally produced beverages include fruit juices, coffee, herbal teas and teas, and alcoholic drinks such as rum, wine, and beer.
Though Madagascar doesn't have a huge tourism trade Madagascar's tourist attractions include its beaches and biodiversity. The island's endemic wildlife and forests are unique tourist attractions. Nosy Be?” It means “big island” and it is just that; a large island off the northwest coast of Madagascar. Here you’ll find volcanic lakes, lazy lemurs, rum distilleries, Ylang Ylang plantations and intricate coral reefs that are practically begging to be explored. Flora and fauna lovers will be in seventh heaven at the beautiful Lokobe Nature Special Reserve. Audiophiles should visit in May, to experience the four-day Donia Music Festival. They also have a Lemur's Park and Lokobe Nature Special Reserve, Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve, and Les Trois Baies.
