Lucy chose not to rat out Laughlin, even though Tom Harden and Noah guessed. Did she make the right decision? Should they do something about it?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Should Lucy have reported him. Probably. Lucy gave Laughlin years of psychoanalysis in minutes instead of years. She crammed his hidden truths down his throat where it would have taken a regular psychologist years to bring him to the self awareness on his own. Something is definitely going to have to be done about him. A start would be removing him from the new agent program.

Great points, Anita! I can’t say it any better. But, I feel passionately about Laughlin being removed.

Also, if Lucy had reported him, that might have left a stain.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments As a new recruit, I think it would come down negatively on Lucy if she reported him. People are leery of her as it is. However, I do think Noah, Harden, Kate, and the others that witnessed his behavior should say something.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Agree. Lucy is already on everyone's radar. She has some awesome people behind her, but I bet there are just as many against her. Someone with more authority needs to deal with Laughlin. Lucy needs to stay out of it as much as possible.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments It was really amazing how deeply Lucy got into Laughlin's psychological problems -- it does show how gifted and intuitive she is. She profiled him!

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments It would have been in right to report him, but I really like how she handled it. She took control of the situation and put him in his place. He would probably get more help for his issues if she reported it, though.
I agree that her reporting him may have looked bad on her as well.

That’s a great point, Charlene! This scene was powerful.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Great observations Charlene. I loved Lucy in this scene.
