Nell, I'm sorry, but I'm afraid not. Life has been a bit crazy--I will definitely have the final check-in for the end of the year, though.

You're welcome! I love these challenges and plan to keep doing them as long as I have a huge TBR pile. At the rate I'm going, you all don't need to worry about me cancelling the challenge for a LONNNNGGG time. LOL

Sam, it is the tenth year for both Mount TBR and my Vintage Mystery Challenge (on my blog only--I have trouble keeping up with two venues for the TBRs and didn't want to try it for the Vintage). I hope to be able to do something special at the end of next year's challenge...but I don't know if it will work out.

Life happens. I will look forward to the final check-in.

Thanks, Bev, for creating these groups :)

Thanks for letting me know....I was having trouble with my internet when I was trying to put these together. I'll investigate. But--if you think it's a sign that you should go for El Toro, then maybe you should. :-)

:-) What I don't understand is why I don't seem to be making a dent in the mountains--with the pandemic I haven't been going to bookstores and we didn't have the huge community book sale that we always do (and I cart out between 60-100 books, depending on how many mysteries they have that I can't live without). This year I've bought exactly 8 books and received maybe 10-15 more on gift-giving occasions. You'd think my piles would look smaller since I've read over 75...but noooooo.

I can't believe that it is already that time of year. Thanks for all your hard work creating and running these Mount TBR groups Bev!

Yes--it comes around faster and faster every year....

Thank you for putting these up for us, fellow climbers, Bev!

Thanks for setting up next year’s climbs, Bev! I’m up for conquering another mountain.

I know the feeling!! I only got 17 new books in 2020 (so far... there's still Christmas lol), which is my lowest in my adult life by far. Mostly because of the big used book sales being cancelled. And I also read more for this challenge than I ever have! But still my TBR pile is a whole mountain range.

Edit: Most of my purchases in 2020 were e-books, but even with that my shelves at home don't look emptier. I might need to try harder in 2021.
