In the beginning, there was him.
Gutsy, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn't want to break. She's sick of her mother's zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, and declares she'll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Søren Stearns and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Suddenly, daily Mass seems like a reward, and her punishment is the ache she feels when they're apart. He is intelligent and insightful and he seems to know her intimately at her very core. Eleanor is consumed—and even she knows that can't be right.
But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. She vows to repay him with complete obedience…and a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets.
Danger can be managed—pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin.
It's not only hot. It's like a white-hot iron. I defy anybody, even if you think "not my cup of tea", not to love it. And it's still can be qualified of being a "romance".

Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption.
When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.
An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love and redemption, "Gabriel's Inferno" is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man's escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible...forgiveness and love.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.
Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning author John Green's most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.
Please remember the rules, any self-nominations or books with under 100 ratings will be removed from the list. Thanks

I nominate A House Without Windows by Stevie Turner. It won the Goodreads eBookMiner Book of the Month competition for January, and now has 100 ratings.

O.K. I'm not forced to select nor to read it. But if you can make me understand...

I Emma by Jane Austen. I just bought the book over the holidays and am trying to fit it into me reading schedule.

Eight hundred years earlier, on the eve of a brutal crusade that will rip apart southern France, a young woman named Alais is given a ring and a mysterious book for safekeeping by her father. The book, he says, contains the secret of the true Grail, and the ring, inscribed with a labyrinth, will identify a guardian of the Grail. Now, as crusading armies gather outside the city walls of Carcassonne, it will take a tremendous sacrifice to keep the secret of the labyrinth safe.

It seems very interesting, but we're supposed to chose a romance. Is it a romance?
Thank you for all the nominations... the thread is now closed and the pol will be sent out this evening.

What ROMANCE do you want to read & discuss?
We will be picking from your choices, but one book will be decided by your votes and the second by the moderators. We try to maintain a balance between indie and more mainstream books, and will make sure the final choices reflect the two. If the popular vote is for an indie, then the moderators will choose a mainstream option. If the popular vote is mainstream, then we will chose an indie option.
Please nominate your favorite to our list and we will get the poll up soon. First the ground rules:
- No self-nominations
- Any nominated book must have a minimum of 100 ratings
- The nominations will be open for three days
- Nominations will be listed in a first-come, first-serve manner, with the books with the most nominations heading the list
- Total number of nominations taken for the poll is twenty.
- If you prefer to email me your choices, those will be added at the end of that day’s nominations.
