Fantasy Reads discussion

This is for me and El to Buddy Read 'Last Argument of Kings'.

The new man (view spoiler)[ It was to be expected but I'm so sad the group got separated... And this reunion scene with Ardee! What the f**** ?! Seriously? I'd been waiting for it for so long and it was awful :( I'm sure the author did it this way on purpose but why ? I really really hope he's doing it for a good reason. (hide spoiler)]

The book so far (after 13 chapters or something) (view spoiler)[ I still love this series because I love the author and the characters but I don't really like the story so far, to be honnest. Everything that's happening is not going in a direction I want to see. Like, everything I want (Ardee and Jezal happy together, Logen and Ferro spending time together, Glokta becoming close with Logen and Jezal, the three of them having to do something to do together, etc.) is not happening (and seems to even get further away). I really hope the book will soon change direction... But I'm hopeful because I felt a bit the same during the 1st third of book two, like the book wasn't going in the direction I wanted and yet I LOVED it in the end so I trust the author to be annoying me right now just to satisfy me in the end ;) How do you feel so far ? I've just read the first Glokta chapter... I'd be reading 1 or 2 ch/day from now on....
