K. How do you feel about Roden, Darius, Jaron, Mott, and Tobias after FINISHING the book?

I really didn't Darius because his character shows cowardice in some parts. I didn't expect that because in the books before, he was described as someone completely different.
I finally thought Roden found his significant other but......
I felt like things were going in a cycle when Jaron was suspecting Tobias and Roden betraying him like in the first book.
Mott was more of a side character than as a helper but that was okay. I only lesson I learned from his is that all the characters need to improve their communication skills!

I'm 2 years late to this discussion, but I don't really care so...

I felt like Roden and Jaron's arc in this book was just a repeat of books 2 and 3. I kind of felt like all Roden's character development from the Book 3 was undone, so I didn't really like that.
I thought Darius was alright. He just seemed like a mediocre person and an equally mediocre character.
Jaron was really well done, he stayed in character throughout the whole book.
Mott and Tobias were fine too.
