I love this book! The beginning is slightly slow, but the heists are amazing! And Kaz💜💜💜

I am currently on the part where Kaz just found out what the heist is about and he's getting his crew together!

And also, I had a question. If anyone has read the Shadow and Bone trilogy, that takes place in Ravka and the locations there were pretty clear. But which location does this take place in? Like is Ketterdam in Ravka?

Ketterdam is a city in Kerch. Kerch is it's own "country". It's an island a little off the coast of Ravka. So they are two different places :)

I'm liking this so far, but it's kind of stressing me out that the chapters are so long. The pacing is fine, but the chapters could and should be a lot shorter.

Yeah ik. Because then I feel guilty about not finishing a chapter before closing the book when I need to stop reading :/

Part 1
(view spoiler)[W-O-W. I'm sold, in love and so happy that this group made me to start reading this book. I finished author's first trilogy at this week and it was okay but made me wonder if I really want to read more from Bardugo yet. I had read so many good reviews about this book so I thought that maybe I should give this a chance. I can't remember when I would have loved the story this much. I feel something similar I felt when I was reading A Song of Ice and Fire!! This is really adventurous book and I love our characters, they are really interesting. So far so good. I really love good/interesting adventures! (hide spoiler)]

ikr! Shadow and Bone book 1 was good, book 2 was terrible and book 3 was the worst (I DNF-ed it), but SoC is incredible so far!

I cannot express how happy I am that you both are liking it. :D

Part 2
(view spoiler)[I have enjoyed the humour and I feel the chemistry between characters works. This has had couple surprising twists already, but now we have quite slow phase and I hope we would get more action soon. I'm really - really - big fan of heists so I don't even have to say I enjoyed the scene about escaping from the prison. (hide spoiler)]

Hahaha, I'm still finding out more about our characters and are only curious about them. I have not so big emotions for some character. Yet. Well... Maybe if I really start to think, I can find my favorite. I was really thinking through all characters yesterday and wondered if someone would find Jesper to be her favorite. And you made it, haha. I would love to hear more about it!

I agree! This takes quite a long time to start.
