so this was chosen as the book of the month!! i'm hoping this month is a bit more successful than the last few but if you're busy, don't feel pressured to read it! happy reading everyone :)

message 2: by Raynah (new)

Raynah I put a hold on both the ebook and the audiobook and they’ll be available in 9 and 16 weeks. The physical book also has 53 people waiting in line, so I doubt I’ll be able to read it this month.

so my mam (im from northern england so call her that if you’re confused lol) had this book so i’m starting today! :)

Allison I read over the summer(June: I'm in the US) and I really enjoyed it. One of my favorite aspects of this book was the amazing characters, I felt like all the characters were well thought out and flawed. They all seemed very real.

yes i agree! i’m about halfway through, and all the characters have individual deep stories! :)

Ok, so I’ve got about 80 pages left (this is a long book) and I’m enjoying it so far! The past few months have been so busy with school + covid (I think we can all relate) but I’m hoping to finish it soon :)

I finally finished it! Overall, I am not impressed with it, as I had much higher expectations. There didn't really seem to be an actual storyline, and was more just centred around character development. I understand a lot of people usually like that, but if it's replacing the actual plot, I don't enjoy it. Anyway, I did really like some of the characters (Izzy + Mia) and it was obvious so much time + work had been put into the book, so I've rated it 3/5 :)
