I am ashamed to say I haven't read this one either🤦‍♀️ I've heard amazing things about it though.

What are you guys' thoughts?

I’ve been meaning to read this for a while. I enjoyed the film so it should be good. Can’t wait to get to it.

It is AMAZING. Impactful, raw, heartbreaking, just simply amazing.

Actually I haven't read it yet! I totally need to read from what I've heard about it. So pertinent to everything going on in the world.

Don't worry. even I have not read it yet😂😂

I really enjoyed this book! It was very eye opening in raising awareness about issues like racism and police brutality, which are quite relevant to our society today. I might consider rereading it this month too.

If you like reading about issues... Deadly Roses addresses the Domestic Violence issue.

I’m glad I got to this. It was really good. Not only was it eye opening and emotional, it was really well written.

How does the movie compare to the book?

Both were great but the book has more detail and more going on so I think I preferred the book.
