I have been thinking about this a bit lately, though. I've almost finished my gothic list for this year, but still have quite a few of my food titles to read, so I'm going to roll that one over to 2021. I've also been thinking I might focus on the sub-continent again! Last time I did that was 2016, and since then I've collected so many titles I want to get stuck into. Mainly India, but a few from Nepal and Sri Lanka as well. I figure if I can't travel, I may as well spend time there in my head.

Uuhh subcontinent! So many amazing options, Andrea.

I'm focusing on Eastern Europe in 2021, including Southeast and the Caucasus, main focus on countries I haven't read yet.

I don't have a list or anything put together but I have books on my shelf that I started collecting in 2012, still to read. HA.

I'm going to continue my African journey. I finished reading The Fortunes of Wangrin for Mali recently and it was great!

Is anyone doing Sth America? I bought a book in a 2nd hand bookshop in the US titled The News from Paraguay which looks fun.

I’ll probably read a few from South America as part of my travels - definitely want to get to The Seamstress set in Brazil. I loved Frances de Pontes Peebles’s The Air You Breathe. I’ve had a couple of Isabel Allende’s older books on my list, which I also want to get to. I’ve read quite a few of hers - the most recent one was A Long Petal of the Sea, which was pretty good.
