Personally I've spent the past couple of days setting up this group and prepopulating it with a bunch of threads to hopefully encourage conversation and sharing. Now it's time to get back to my WIP - which is two or three chapters away from being complete!

I'm in a very strange mood these past few days. I've started two books that are good, they're well-written, and they clearly have interesting world-building, but I just haven't had the desire to keep reading either one of them! I might just give up on reading for a while and focus on doing a "best books I've read this year" and some other blog posts or something...

How's everyone else doing? Reading anything good?

I just started reading Katherine Langrish's "Dark Angels," which is absolutely drawing me in with its wonderfully vivid world building and characterization. As for writing, I've been putting it off for a while now, but I think it's about time I stopped dragging my feet and got to work on one of the three projects I currently have going. One of these days I'll learn to finish one thing before starting another! Then again, where would be the fun in that?
